First Republic Ecu L'An II-W, D-1336/V, R-80/05, 29.34g, MS63 NGC. Lille mint. The Lille issue is the most common type/mint for this very scarce type Lovely, old toning over original, unflawed surfaces. Well-struck with no adjustment marks. Truly exceptional condition for the type. Even the edge milling is perfectly applied. A specimen of historic importance, in exceptional condition. Probably the finest example extant for the type.From the Grundy Collection.
