Louis XIIII Ecu 1668-(9), D-3802, G-206, 27.21g, MS66 NGC. Rennes mint. Ecu au Buste Juvenile-Type 2. Brilliant white with flawless surfaces and full, original mint frost. A truly incredible example and one of, if not the finest known Louis XIV Ecu. The mind boggles to think that this amazing coin has survived in such pristine condition for over 300 years.From the Grundy Collection.
