Exceedingly Rare 100 Francs gold Essai 1878
Republic gold 100 Francs Essai 1878, Maz-2112, PF64 Cameo NGC, plain edge pattern distinguished from the regular issue with its larger letters in the reverse legend. "Essai" found beneath the reverse wreath. A pre-issue pattern and listed as rarity "5" by Mazard. Full cameo appearance and with a frostiness difficult to duplicate. A major rarity and a joy to behold.Metal: Gold
