Description
Full Bell Lines Superb Gem 1949-S Half
1949-S 50C MS67 Full Bell Lines NGC. From this relatively low mintage production, the first Franklin half dollar issue from the San Francisco Mint, this impressive piece is the single finest-certified by NGC. PCGS has graded only three coins at MS67 Full Bell Lines, with none finer, as of (8/09). Fully struck with vibrant mint luster and enticing copper-orange peripheral toning, and mottled olive-green and rose-gray patina over the unmarked fields and central devices. A great Superb Gem example.(Registry values: N7079)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24SV, PCGS# 86655, GSID# 6825)
