Description

1950-D Half Dollar, MS66+ Full Bell Lines
Top-Tier Condition Rarity

1950-D 50C MS66+ Full Bell Lines PCGS. CAC. The obverse is largely silver with a crescent of gold-orange at the bottom and left, while the reverse offers extensive gold-gray, russet, and powder-blue toning with a partial woodgrain pattern. The lines on the Liberty Bell are clear and the surfaces are carefully preserved. The 1950-D half dollar may seem to be only scarce or so in MS66 Full Bell Lines, but this is largely an artifact of numerous resubmissions, and the October 2012 price record of $17,265 for this issue in MS66+ Full Bell Lines condition proves the demand for examples that tiny bit better. Population: 54 in 66 (3 in 66+) Full Bell Lines, 0 finer (8/13).(Registry values: N2998)
