1951-D Franklin, MS67 Full Bell Lines
Toned Top-Grade Registry Candidate
1951-D 50C MS67 Full Bell Lines PCGS. The 1951-D Franklin
half dollar is more often seen with Full Bell Lines than without,
although such coins are conditionally rare at the Superb Gem grade
level. This piece is tied with just four others for finest at PCGS,
while 11 coins in the same grade are reported at NGC (9/24). The
current piece boasts luminous mint luster with mottled
olive-russet, gold, pine-green, and silvery obverse patina. The
reverse is mostly champagne. Overall outstanding eye appeal
endorses the lofty grade and Registry-tier classification.
