Description

1951-S Half Dollar, MS67
Attractive Peripheral Color

1951-S 50C MS67 PCGS. CAC. The 1951-S half dollar had a mintage of more than 13 million coins, but survivors achieving the lofty MS67 grade level are genuinely rare and highly sought-after by Registry Set collectors. This CAC-approved Superb Gem displays vivid amber-green and lemon-gold peripheral toning around frosty, ice-blue centers. The strike is bold, with nearly full bell lines, while close examination reveals only a few faint surface grazes on the high points. Population: 3 in 67, 0 finer (4/14).(Registry values: N2998)
