Description
1953-S Franklin, MS64 Full Bell Lines
Rare So Well Struck
1953-S 50C MS64 Full Bell Lines NGC. The 1953-S is among the
most challenging Franklin half dollars to acquire with Full Bell
Lines. NGC and PCGS combined report only 69 grading events of such
coins, including possible duplication. NGC-certified pieces are
especially rare, regardless of grade. The present coin displays
sharp definition throughout and softly frosted luster. While most
examples of this issue are brilliant or tinged light golden, this
coin displays deeper, mottled amber-orange toning. A loupe fails to
reveal bothersome abrasions. Outstanding for Registry collectors.
