Description
Strike Rarity 1953-S Franklin Half MS64 Full Bell Lines PCGS
1953-S 50C MS64 Full Bell Lines PCGS. The 1953-S is a notorious strike rarity within the Franklin Half series. Uncirculated pieces abound, but in a situation similar to Full Bands on the 1945 Mercury Dime, only a miniscule percentage of these pieces meet the PCGS requirements for Full Bell Lines. Blazing mint luster, clean surfaces, and medium apricot-gold toning combine for excellent eye appeal. From the T & T Martin Registry Set of Franklin Halves.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24T8, PCGS# 86666, Greysheet# 6841)
