1954-S 50C MS67 PCGS. The 1954-S is one of the lowest-mintage dates in the Franklin half dollar series with just under 5 million pieces. Most examples are softly struck without Full Bell Lines. The MS67 is extremely rare; PCGS and NGC report only 23 so graded and none numerically finer. Soft gold patina gravitates to the margins. Both sides are lustrous and nicely preserved. Population: 9 in 67, 0 finer (8/16).(Registry values: N1793)
