Description

1955 Franklin Half Dollar, MS67
FS-401, Bugs Bunny

1955 50C Bugs Bunny, FS-401, MS67 PCGS. CAC. Ex: Ruby's Franklins. This is a popular Cherrypickers' variety showing light clash marks at Franklin's mouth that give him the appearance of having buck teeth (similar to those seen on the cartoon character for which this variety is nicknamed). This is the sole finest non-Full Bell Lines example at PCGS, although three Full Bell Lines coins also reported in this grade at that service (11/23). Softly frosted luster illuminates pristine surfaces, and the obverse shows vivid forest-green, faded plum, and autumn-gold toning. The reverse is brilliant.
From The Stephenville Collection.
