1959 50C MS67+ PCGS. CAC. Type Two Reverse. The 1959 Franklin half dollar is a great rarity in Superb Gem condition. Only one such coin (an NGC piece) is in the Full Bell Lines category. This Plus-graded Superb Gem is the sole finest at PCGS and one of only two Superb Gems endorsed by CAC. The strike lacks just slightly on the lower bell near the crack. Softly frosted luster shows no abrasions and has original multihued toning over both sides. Population: 3 in 67 (1 in 67+), 0 finer. CAC: 2 in 67, 0 finer (5/18).(Registry values: N2998)
