FS-801, Doubled Die Reverse
1961 50C Doubled Die Reverse, FS-801, PR67 PCGS. Dramatic
die doubling is visible on all reverse legends, but it is
especially prominent on E PLURIBUS UNUM, UNITED, and HALF. This
Superb Gem proof displays brilliant, deeply watery fields and
frost-white devices. The strike and preservation are exceptional.
FS-801 is rarely offered this fine. Housed in a first generation
