French Colony Proof 20 Centimes 1879-A PR66 NGC, Paris mint, KM5, Lec-21. Stunning Gem representative of this rare colonial Proof, laden in die polish lines and haloed by a ring of caramel toning. Devices are absolutely pristine, matching the intensity of the Proof flash. Tied with the D. Moore specimen at this level of preservation, only one certified higher at NGC.Ex. Robert Sayre Collection (Heritage Auction 458, January 2008, Lot 50991)
