    Foutah Djalon aluminum Specimen Pattern 5 Francs 1894 SP58 PCGS, Km-X3, Lec-4. Plain edge. Unsigned. Beautifully depicted throughout, with an obverse illustration that features a prowling lion with crescent above and KAHEL below, while the reverse presents the arabic legend 'Sanderval' in oval, 25 GR.A. above and date below. An extremely rare French African crown-sized pattern with only a few pieces known--this being the first ever sold by Heritage. Wholly original, with beautiful coloring and sharply struck devices, sure to create an abundance of interest from collectors.
