Description
French Colony silver Cut Canceled Specimen Trial Piastre 1931 SP55 PCGS, Paris mint, cf. KM-19. (standard issue), Lec-306.10 var.; #4 countermark. 1931 was a transitional year for the coinage of French Indo-China and the first year for the 'Liberty Head' type. Diagonally cut/canceled and marked with a stamped '4' countermark on Liberty's cheek and ink numerals (19.870) over the bust. A rare trial piece, one of only 23 such trial strikes known to exist, with Heritage having had the pleasure of bringing the first to market in our inaugural Hong Kong auction in December 2015.Ex. 巴黎造幣廠。帶有「4」字戳記。1931年是法屬印支錢幣的過渡年份，同時亦是坐洋的首發年份。這枚自由女神像銀幣被剪去三分一注銷，並於面頰處打上「4」字戳記和寫上數字「19.870」。此幣稀罕少見，屬二十三枚同類型試鑄幣之一。敝司有幸於2015年12月香港首拍時首次提供此幣。
