Augsburg. Free City 1/2 Taler 1643 MS64 NGC, KM79. A type that hardly ever surfaces at auction, this particular example stamps an immense amount of beauty onto a ½ Taler frame. The reverse features the classic Augsburg city view with the symbolic pinecone in the foreground. On the obverse, Ferdinand's armor glitters with near-complete detail. The argent surfaces on this single-graded example at NGC are softened by the presence of mellow pastel hues.Metal: Silver
