    Description

Brunswick-Lüneburg-Calenberg. Johann Friedrich Taler 1666-HS MS61 NGC, KM89, Dav-6544. This wonderful "Wild Man" taler represents the beloved design in striking fashion, produced with an impressive sharpness in all but the lowest areas of the standing figure and across the majority of the reverse heraldry. Lightly toned with interwoven silver and graphite hues, and showing some doubling in the legends. Housed in an NGC oversized holder.
