Description

Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel. August II "Bell" Taler 1643 MS62 NGC, KM425, Dav-6371. An interesting and highly collectible taler, illustrating a clapper-style bell that is unique among the varieties of this bell-taler style. Rare quality for the issue as well, with a strong strike and light gray surfaces; evidence of handling is minimal and does not influence the eye-appeal. Presently unmatched in quality at NGC and among the very finest raw examples that we have seen.
