    Description

Eichstatt. Sede Vacante Taler 1781-KR/OE MS64 NGC, Dav-2210, KM90, Cahn-145. Obv. Thirteen shields surrounding three coats of arms above the date. Rev. All seeing eye above bird's-eye view of the city. A stunning Mint State example of this impressively designed taler. The engraving is absolutely spectacular in detail and the luster gleams beneath appealing gray and russet patina. Only a single example has been certified finer than this exceptional piece (MS65), and we would have to see it to believe it.
