    Description

Erfurt. Gustav Adolf II of Sweden gold Ducat 1634 AU Details (Rim Filing) NGC, KM63, Fr-919. Struck during the era of Swedish domination in northern Germany, this scarce type features the bust of Gustav Adolf II and crowned inscription. The flan appears to be slightly wavy, but the surfaces present attractive, aged patina and the King's bust is fully detailed. Minor rim-filing accounts for the details designation, but even so, the overall allure of this piece is still solid.
