Hamburg. Free City gold "Peace of Amiens" Medal of 10 Ducats 1802 MS61 PCGS, Gaed-1992, Hoffman-140. 42mm. 33.96gm. By A. Abramson. Though not noted on the holder, this specimen displays prominent Prooflike qualities, a feature that significantly boosts the eye appeal. The peace-themed design motifs are evocative and charming, bolstered by mint frost and an incredible framing amongst the dark expanses. Light friction and wisps in the fields are as expected on an example of this grade-level, but the overall magnificence of this large piece is undeniable regardless.
