Hesse-Darmstadt. Ernst Ludwig gold Proof 20 Mark 1903-A PR65 Cameo NGC, Berlin mint, KM371, J-225. With only 100 examples of this date struck in Proof, most collectors would be hard-pressed to find a gem example, but that is just what is seen in this enticing issue, replete with deep mirror surfaces and a clear cameo contrast.
