    Description

Hesse-Darmstadt. Ernst Ludwig "Mining" Taler 1714-BIB AU58 NGC, Darmstadt mint, KM125 (same dies), Dav-2315. 41.5mm. Itter Mine commemorative. Notably fine condition for this difficult taler of Hesse-Darmstadt, particularly on the cusp of Mint State, with light stippling over the duke's bust and residual watery features in the fields attesting to its superb preservation.

Thanks to Heritage I realized a handsome profit for my coin submissions and intend to send most of the remainder of my collection to Heritage Auction Galleries for future auctions.
