    Description

    Lübeck. Free City aluminum-plated copper Specimen Pattern 3 Mark 1915-A SP64 PCGS, Berlin mint, KM-Pn39, Schaaf-82/G3. Obv. Double-headed eagle with mintmark below. This is the accepted design used on the regular circulation coins. Rev. Crowned eagle with wings spread, date and value in legend. This reverse design was not accepted for use in the regular issues. A problem-free example of this difficult Pattern type struck in aluminum-plated copper.
