CAROLVS VI D G ROM IMP S A GERM HISP HVNG & BOH REX Armored bust of Karl VI right // LAETA NORIS CAROLO FIDEI DEDIT IGNIBVS IGNES Fireworks scene; DIE HOMAGIJ / XVI IANVARII in exergue. A highly unusual and visual engaging specimen, rarely encountered in any metal let alone in silver, with only a few coming to market in as many decades. A uniform battleship gray appearance envelopes the piece at hand, punctuated by mottle iridescence that serves to elevate the eye appeal fully.
