Description
1836 Gobrecht Dollar, PR50
Judd-60 Original, Medal Alignment
1836 $1 Judd-60 Original, Medal Alignment, Pollock-65, R.1, PR50
NGC. Silver. Plain Edge. Die Alignment IV (center of Liberty's
head is opposite the F in OF). Die State F at least, although wear
on the rims and holder tabs prevent positive examination of the
later state markers. Die Alignment IV coins are Originals. This
lightly circulated example displays strong detail with light wear
over the high points of the devices and across the fields. Much of
the fields' reflective qualities are subdued, encompassed in
mottled gold, olive, amber, and blue-lavender toning. No overt
impairments are observed. From The LS Collection.
