Pleasing Judd-60 Restrike Gobrecht Dollar, PR501836 PS$1 Name on Base, Judd-60 Restrike, Pollock-65, R.5, PR50 PCGS. Die Alignment IV. Plain Edge. Silver. Like the PR61 below, this piece was struck in Die Alignment IV toward the end of the production run in March 1837 with the eagle flying level after the reverse die rotated. This particular coin is gray-brilliant with none of the dark color or heavy contact marks usually seen on these coins. Very sharply struck with only the slightest trace of friction over the highpoints and in the fields. An excellent value for the collector who is seeking a problem-free, lightly handled Gobrecht dollar.(#11227) (NGC ID# 26YX, PCGS# 11227)
