Variety 1-B, AU50
1849-D G$1 AU50 PCGS. Variety 1-B. The mintmark is nearly
centered on the reverse of this scarce variety, with a die crack
through its top, connecting the D to the left and right ribbon
ends. Housed in a green-label PCGS holder, this pleasing AU50 piece
has nearly full satin luster on its light yellow-gold
