Lovely Eye Appeal
1849-D G$1 AU58 PCGS. Winter 1-A, with the mintmark
positioned to the left of the knot on the bow. A crisply struck
near-Mint State Dahlonega dollar that has just a trace of wear on
the hair above the ear. The smooth surfaces display original
orange-gold toning with lovely eye appeal. Good luster with a
grainy texture towards the rims. PCGS Population: 52 in 58, (1 in
58+), 73 finer (9/25).Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 9/2008), lot 3109.(Registry values: N1793)
