    1850-D G$1 AU58 PCGS. CAC. Variety 2-C. From a mintage of 8,382 pieces, the 1850-D gold dollar is an elusive, underrated branch mint issue in all grades. This attractive near-Mint specimen exhibits a sharper than average strike, with just a trace of wear on the high points of the design elements. The pleasing orange-gold surfaces are lustrous and lightly abraded. Population: 16 in 58, 11 finer. CAC: 1 in 58, 2 finer (6/19).(Registry values: N2998)
