Description

1850 G$1 MS64 PCGS. Although nearly 500,000 pieces were minted, the 1850 is scarcer in high grades compared to other P-mint Type One gold dollars. Enchanting yellow-gold patina coats the surfaces, which exhibit tremendous, flashy luster throughout. There is some softness on the upper left quadrant of the obverse, but the bust is unaffected by the weak areas. A die crack bisects the reverse from the T in UNITED to the final A in AMERICA.
