1851-C G$1 AU53 PCGS. Variety 5-E. This well struck Charlotte gold dollar has the sharpness of an AU58 example, but marks are noted near the coronet tip, cheekbone, and ear. The reverse is abraded near the ST in STATES and the CA in AMERICA.(Registry values: N1793)
