1851-C G$1 AU58 NGC. Variety 4-D. The 1851-C gold dollar is a common issue by Charlotte standards and can be found in a wide range of grades, including the occasional Uncirculated coin. This piece represents good value as it is just at the threshold of Mint State with most of the detail and mint luster of an Uncirculated piece. Fully struck on each side, the green-gold surfaces show no mentionable abrasions on either side.(Registry values: N1793)
