1851-D G$1 AU58 PCGS. Variety 3-E. From a tiny mintage of 9,882 pieces, the 1851-D is a rare Dahlonega issue, yet is collectible at the near-Mint level. The present olive-gold example is well struck except for the LA in DOLLAR. There are no noticeable marks. Struck from a clashed reverse die. Population: 27 in 58, 22 finer (7/13).(Registry values: N1793)
