1851-O AU 58 NGC. The '51-O is one of the more frequently encountered O-mint issues, and as such makes an excellent choice for type purposes. This piece, while somewhat weakly struck in the center of the obverse, displays rich, original reddish-orange patina and no singularly distracting blemishes.
