1852-D G$1 -- Obverse Scratched -- NGC Details. AU. Variety 4-F. This well struck Dahlonega gold dollar provides nearly full design detail and possesses original green-gold toning. A short, slender obverse pinscratch near the obverse rim at 4 o'clock tested the alloy, and the obverse rim has a couple of tiny depressions. Just 6,360 pieces were struck.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25BS, PCGS# 7519, Greysheet# 8064)
