Description
Premium Gem 1852 Gold Dollar
Popular Type One Example
1852 G$1 MS66 NGC. The 1852 gold dollar is an available date
from a mintage of 2 million pieces. The issue is popular with type
collectors seeking an example of a Type One gold dollar. Of course,
the population does thin out in higher grades, and Premium Gem
specimens, like the present coin, are rare. This coin is sharply
struck, with lovely rose-gold patina and no mentionable surface
flaws. Census: 19 in 66, 11 finer (9/10).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25BP, PCGS# 7517, Greysheet# 8012)
