1853-C G$1 MS62 PCGS. Variety 8-I. A radiant yellow-gold Charlotte representative with intricately struck stars and only slight inexactness of strike on the hair near the ear. A hair-thin mark above the coronet tip is of little consequence. Just 11,515 pieces were struck.
