Description
1853-C VF 30 Scratched, Initials in Field, Cleaned. The obverse cleaning being a crude attempt to hide the initials to the left of the portrait. Despite its laundry list of distractions, we are happy to report that this very scarce Charlotte issue, one of 11,515 pieces struck, is relatively sharp for the date and planchet problems are virtually non-existent.
