1853 G$1 MS65 PCGS. The most numerous gold dollar type coin, the 1853 Type One is occasionally found in Gem and even finer grades. This splendid Gem example boasts frosty surfaces with a bold strike, good luster, and splendid orange-gold color. PCGS has certified 35 pieces finer (8/08).
