1853 G$1 MS66 PCGS. Full stars, curls, and wreath leaves
define this gleaming Premium Gem. Frosted yellow-gold surfaces
display extraordinarily clean fields and terrific eye appeal. Gold
dollars were struck in massive quantities during the early 1850s,
when silver was largely driven out of circulation. More than 4
million pieces were minted in 1853. Population: 72 in 66 (9 in
