Not Sold Description
1854 G$1 Type Two MS 63 NGC. A legendary issue among high quality type collectors, the 1854 Type Two gold dollar is always in demand even in problem-free AU condition. This is a lovely Select representative whose orange-gold features are remarkably abrasion-free for the grade. The luster is, however, somewhat subdued, but the overall eye appeal is still superior for the grade as well as the issue. Characteristic clashmarks (as struck) are noted in the reverse field. This coin would fit comfortably into any advanced gold collection.
