Mint State 1854 Type Two Gold Dollar
1854 G$1 Type Two MS61 PCGS. A more common Type Two P-mint along with the 1855, the 1854 is sometimes preferred by first-year-of-type collectors. This piece shows antique-gold coloration and some bold clash marks, with a few small contact marks that determine the grade, which nonetheless seems a bit conservative.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25C3, PCGS# 7531, GSID# 8015)
