1854 Type Two Gold Dollar MS62
1854 G$1 Type Two MS62 PCGS. Moderate die rust near the obverse periphery fails to lower the eye appeal of this lustrous, boldly struck representative. Several shallow pinscratches are observed on the obverse, limiting the grade. The Type Two gold dollar and the three dollar gold piece, both introduced in 1854, share the same wreath design.(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25C3, PCGS# 7531, GSID# 8015)
