Not Sold Description
1854-S G$1 AU 58. The first gold dollar struck at the San Francisco Mint, the 1854-S is an understandably popular and legitimately scarce coin. Given the rarity of the issue in Mint State, the present Choice AU specimen should attract significant bidder attention. Both sides are smooth and snappy with radiant orange-gold color. The fields are moderately reflective, but this feature is more noticeable on the reverse.
