1855-C G$1 XF40 PCGS. Variety 2. Struck from moderately clashed dies, with minute traces of die rust evident near the peripheries. A shallow planchet flaw resides just to the right (facing) of the large denominational 1 on the upper reverse. Noticeably worn on the obverse high points, but free of detracting marks on both sides. Population: 20 in 40, 69 finer (4/09).(Registry values: N2998)
