Sole Type Two Dollar From Charlotte
1855-C G$1 XF45 PCGS. Variety 2. The sole Charlotte Small
Head issue, and rare due to a stingy mintage of 9,803 pieces. This
lightly circulated gold dollar displays plentiful lemon-gold luster
along with mint-made clash marks usual for the Type Two design. The
only visible mark is a thin line above DOLLAR. Population: 20 in
