Description

1855 G$1 MS62 PCGS. A lovely MS62 example of this popular type issue, part of the short-lived Type Two series. Yellow-gold centers are satiny, while the margins trend more gold-orange. Well struck for the type, though the centers show a measure of the usual softness. Clash marks contribute to the obscuring of the upper loop of the 8 in the date.(Registry values: N4719)
