Description

Wonderful 1855 Type Two Gold Dollar, MS62

1855 G$1 MS62 PCGS. While the 1854 and 1855 Type Two gold dollars are not rare, they are always in demand, and it is the demand that keeps market prices at strong levels. A splendid example with highly lustrous and frosty orange-gold surfaces that will appeal to the connoisseur. Like most known examples of the date, both sides of this piece have heavy clash marks in the fields near the devices. (Registry values: N4719)
